Full-time farrier with 10+yrs experience. 2011 graduate of Mission Farrier School in Washington State. Credentialed by the International Association of Professional Farriers. Liselle continues to grow her knowledge of farriery through participation yearly in seminars, clinics and conferences.

A professional trainer for over ten years and a lifetime horse owner, Liselle will treat your horses like her own, with respect and patience for a safe and stress-free farrier experience.

Need a farrier?

WMF provides mobile service to barns in western Maine within ~30 miles of Farmington, Maine. Services included performance barefoot trimming and hoof boot fitting as well as conventional shoeing and composite/ glue-on shoeing. Our full-service farrier shop is available for trailer-in appointments May through November. Clients who trailer in receive 20% off their bill, and have access to several miles of private riding trails as well as an outdoor arena and round pen for schooling your horse during the visit. OUR SERVICES

Balanced Trimming
A quality barefoot trim is where hoofcare begins. Every 4-8 weeks, the foot is trimmed to promote healthy hoof growth- resulting in a balanced, well protected hoof capsule.
Hoof Boot Rent-To-own program
Sneakers for horses, hoof boots are easy to apply and can be used for both recreational riding and therapy. Our rent-to-own program allows you to try booting without the hassle of online ordering and annoying returns for products that don't fit.
Shoeing
Whether you need shoes for protection during the riding season, to address or prevent lameness, or for traction in the winter, we have the right package for your horse!
Short-term boarding
Rehabilitation board for horses suffering from laminitis or other hoof pathologies. Vacation board for peace of mind when you're away. Recreational board for access to private trails and arenas. Trailering service available.
